Because of Scooby's quit, the cast was uneven and one contestant, Naptime, was instead sent to Redemption Island, an isolated campsite where contestants must compete in duels to earn a chance to return to the game. and Ben L., were tasked with drafting their own tribes. Soon, two tribe captains were selected at random. Within the first hour of the game, Scooby quit and Sommer discovered the Legacy Advantage. All contestants were then marooned together, though none of them were assigned a tribe and were instead instructed to socialize. Sixteen new contestants were accompanied by four returning players- Jack B., Sommer, Stukov, and Vinny.
Final Three and Jury of Nine: As opposed to a Final Two, three finalists would reach the Final Tribal Council and would face an enlarged jury of nine. The remaining two castaways would compete in a fire-making challenge for the right to reach Final Tribal Council. Simplified Final Four Tribal Council: Instead of a traditional vote, the person who wins the final four Immunity Challenge will get to choose one person to take with them to the Final Three. Joint Tribal Council: The two tribes who lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 15 were both sent to Tribal Council as a group, but unlike a standard Double Tribal Council, they would vote as a group and only one person was voted out. Extra Vote: Allows one contestant to anonymously vote twice, with their second vote counting the exact same as a standard vote. Idol Nullifier: Allows a contestant to render a Hidden Immunity Idol virtually useless, though it must be played in secret before the votes and other advantages are cast and played. 
The idol could only be played after the votes are cast but before they are read.
Hidden Immunity Idol: An object hidden that grants the user immunity and negates all votes cast against the user. Grid Hunt: A grid where contestants can find a plethora of advantages, ranging from idols to challenge boosts. 
A third tribe, Novocaine, was introduced.
Tribe Expansion: On Day 8, the remaining 15 contestants were shuffled into three new tribes of 5. If you lose a duel, you are eliminated from the game for good. At the halfway point, there will be a re-entry duel where the winner of the duel returns back to the game. Redemption Island: After a player is voted out, they go to Redemption Island where they must compete in duels to stay in the game. The one player not selected was sent to Redemption Island where they awaited for the first player to be voted out. Schoolyard Pick and Day 2 Elimination: Two players were chosen at random to draft the two tribes. Returning Players: Four returning players return to each compete for their third attempt at the game. The recommended processor is a P4 2Ghz or AMD equivalent while the game is supposedly not even multithreaded, AI and physics steer the framerate right off a cliff.This section is empty. The PC version has the least content out of the Xbox 360 edition and the PS3 version named "Monster Madness - Grave Danger".
All of the standard game modes you would come to expect in a shooter are present (Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, etc.) Unfortunately, the lobbies are currently empty, making it nearly impossible to partake in the Live experience. On the Xbox 360 Monster Madness also features 16 player multiplayer modes over Xbox Live.

The game is a top-down experience, with the ability to pick up coins and parts to build new weapons and upgrade existing ones.
Monster Madness is a 4 player co-operative survival action game, mixing melee and twin-stick shooting, centered around ridding the evil monsters from your town.
